Did RGV leak the DMD secret?
HYDERABAD: The latest buzz in tinsel town is that Abhishek Bachchan has been dropped from Ram Gopal Varma's upcoming film 'Department' and has been replaced by Rana Daggubati. This resulted due to the SMS fiasco which RGV had sent just prior to the release of DMD with respect to the suspense of the film as well as Abhishek's role.
A source stated that for quite some time junior Bachchan has been avoiding Ramu's calls. As a result a tiff resulted between Abhishek and Ramu. 'Department' is supposed to be Ram Gopal Varma's most expensive project till date. Ramu stated that he has chosen Rana over Abhishek as 'Department' is a hard core action film and Rana's looks and personality is just apt for the role.
Ramu stated that all these are just rumours and that he has absolute respect for Amitabh sir as well as Abhishek. Such rumours will not have any effect on their friendship, said the filmmaker. Till date Sanjay Dutt, Rana Daggubati and Kangana Ranaut have been finalised for the film.
