'Maaveeran' audio launched CHENNAI: Ram Charan Teja, who makes his debut in Tamil with 'Maaveeran', couldn't have asked for more, as the audio launch of the film saw some of the Tamil film industry's biggest names gracing the occasion at Sheraton Park . The event hall was transformed to match the theme of the historical film, with swords, shields and appropriate lights added to the decor.
The audio of 'Maaveeran' was launched by Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam. Speaking on the occasion, Mani Ratnam said, 'Prabhu once told me that he was awe-struck after watching 'Maghadeera'. Everyone was talking about it.' Kamal Haasan called for unity between the Tamil and Telugu film industries and insisted that they work together.
Appreciating 'Magadheera's director SS Rajamouli, director KS Ravikumar said, 'I went to watch the movie along with Udhayanidhi Stalin, and we were left speechless. We never thought that the Tamil version of the movie would fall in his hands.'
Udhayanidhi himself, could not stop gushing about the grandeur of the film. 'In 'Magadheera', Chiranjeevi appears in a dance sequence. When I saw the Tamil version, it was missing. I insisted on that dance sequence being included; Chiranjeevi enjoys a huge fan base here,' he said.
Divya and SP Charan played hosts for the evening. Allu Arvind, Allu Sirish, Suhasini Mani Ratnam, Fefsi Vijayan, Dharani and producer RB Choudary extended their wishes to the team.
