Badrinath fails to standup to expectations 'Badrinath' is a movie which is dedicated to the Indian culture and has Allu Arjun and Tamanna Bhatia in the lead. The movie has huge star cast and lavish way of filming on reel.
But the story part is weak and will not appeal to the most section of audiences. However, Tamanna Bhatia's skin show will make the mass crowds energetic and she can make the movie get some collections for the distributors. Allu Arjun fans will be disappointed as the movie is a below average entertainer and is not suitable to the stylish star stature.
Story Line
Bheeshma Narayan (Prakash Raj) is a protector of Indian culture and so he wants to shield the sanctity of the temples. But as a single source, he cannot do so and so he wants to assign rulers to the temples, in order to protect the temple culture, which will duly protect the Indian traditional culture.
Bheeshma starts to train youth in such a away that they are well versed in all forms of martial arts and are also well versed in the Vedas. Bheeshma succeeds in fulfilling his motive and he sends all his Samurai's to different temples, in order to protect them from all forces.
Badrinath (Allu Arjun) is one such well versed samurai, trained by bheeshma in all forms or martial arts and he is assigned the duty of saving 'Badrinath' temple culture.
Alaknanda (Tamanna) visits the Badrinath temple and seeing her, Badrinath falls in love with her. But the problem is that alaknanda has no belief in god and she is has a life threat. Badrinath takes the responsibility to save her from all her threats, for a reason. He also starts to change her mind and induces some belief in god. How Badrinath saves alaknanda, the Indian culture and how he tackles a surprise twist forms the rest of the s story, which has to be seen on the silver screen.
Performances
Allu Arjun has gives his best to the movie and his six pack body, is a highlight, which will attract the young and female crowds. But ironically speaking, the newly married bridegroom must select a story, which is ideal to the present generation and which suits to his body language fully. Otherwise, the future of Allu Arjun looks bleak and the hero will have to go for other languages or other businesses, if he gets a hitting in tollywood.
Tamanna Bhatia gives full value for the money invested on the ticket. Keeping her acting and expressions apart, her body language and her assets show will impress the first benchers the most. However, the milky white beauty's presence will make the family crowds, stay away from the films as her skin show is too r@unchy, to bear.
Other star cast of the film, are just present to meddle with their respective characters. Prakash Raj as usual will impress the audiences and so do others.
The comedy pack led by Brahmi is not upto the mark. The jokes are worn out and sometimes the satires look unnecessary and non- situational.
Coming to 'Badrinath' music, only the title song ' Naath Naath'.' Is impressive and no tune will impress the melody lovers. The tunes are barely hummable and the audiences will surely forget the tunes, as soon as they come out of the theatres. Keeravani has severely disappointed the fans of Allu Arjun severely in this aspect.
Screenplay is good in parts and the director by VV Vinayak is also commendable. But the truth is that the movie has no interesting plot and so, the director has done his best, with the available storyline. Two fight scenes are excellently portrayed and will impress the audiences.
Story writer chinni Krishna has given nonsense to the stature of Allu Arjun. In simple words, he will be the true cause of the movie's failure, if 'Badrinath' dupes commercially.
