Mani Ratnam's next film with Mahesh Babu Chennai: Mani Ratnam, who scrapped the Ponniyin Selvan project that was supposed to be made with Mahesh Babu, Vijay and Arya in the lead roles, is planning to do a double hero flick as his next.
Word around is that to be believed Mani Ratnam is in plans to rope in Mahesh and Arya in his next movie. Right now the legendary filmmaker is penning down the script for Mahesh Babu, Arya film.
Although he didn't approach Mahesh with this idea, he is confident that Mahesh wouldn't say no to him. Even Mahesh regretted that he missed out working with Mani.
Mani Ratnam has always done better with regular scripts than complicated ones. If he comes up with a strong script like 'Dalapathi' or 'Gharshana', Mahesh fans would be in for a treat of their life. If this film takes shape it would be a bilingual that will be made simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu.
