Will Chiru fulfill Rekha's wish?
Hyderabad: Chiranjeevi, who said he now had to consider acting in films again because of Amitabh Bachchan's request, had to handle another request from Rekha. 'Please act with me in one Hindi movie and then you can return to Telugu,' she told Chiranjeevi in Telugu, much to the delight of the audience.
Chiranjeevi said he was overjoyed at receiving the award, but said it only meant that he should achieve more. During an award function recently, Rekha disclosed her wish. She said she wanted to see Chiranjeevi acting alongside her in a Hindi movie. When the evergreen actress made an open request on the stage, Chiru blushed.
Amidst thunderous applause from the audience, Rekha spoke in Telugu and urged Chiranjeevi to act in a Hindi movie with her. 'After the Hindi movie, you can take up a Telugu film. But, you must act with me first,' Rekha said.
