Anushka case put off to Oct. 12 Visakhapatnam: The ongoing land case relating to film actress Sweety Shetty alias Anushka and director Rajamouli's wife Mrs. Rama in the Bheemunipatnam court has been adjourned to October 12. Anushka, Rama and five others purchased 300 square yards of land in the survey No: 358 in Madhurawada rural mandal from a mediator, allegedly with fake documents four years ago.
Later, the original owner of the site residing in the USA, Mr.Linga Murthy, who came to know the issue, filed a suit in the court seeking action against those purchased the site with fake documents. Meanwhile, Anushka and others had obtained a stay order from the High Court seeking more time to attend to the Bheemunipatnam court with full evidence and documents.
Following the appeal made by the advocate arguing on behalf of the defendents, the Bheemunipatnam court adjourned the case to October 12.
