Mahesh Babu film shoot disrupted HYDERABAD: TRS activists disrupted the shooting of Mahesh Babu-starrer 'Dukudu' for half-an-hour besides damaging some vehicles belonging to the film unit at the Vikarabad railway station, 60 km from the city, on Sunday.
A car belonging to Mahesh Babu, a generator vehicle and some vehicles belonging to the crew were partially damaged in the stone-throwing by the TRS activists.
Dukudu, being produced under the 14 Reels Entertainment banner, is being directed by Srinu Vaitla. Apart from Mahesh Babu, it stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Abhimanyu Singh and Vennela Kishore.
Circle inspector R Rama Rao told that a group of TRS activists arrived at the shooting spot and demanded cancellation of the shoot saying that it would not be allowed in the Telangana region.
They tried to barge into the film sets but were prevented by the crew. Enraged over this, the activists tried to set ablaze the sets and rained stones on the vehicles there. The police personnel posted there for security dispersed the activists and avoided further trouble.
