Nayantara in Dabangg remake?
Chennai: Actress Nayantara has reportedly agreed to do an item song in the Tamil remake of the super hit Salman Khan starrer Dabangg. Titled Osthi, the Tamil remake stars Silambarasan aka Simbu in the lead role under the direction of Dharani. Shriya was apparently the first choice for the Munni Badnaam hui number performed by Malaika Arora in Dabangg.
The makers of Osthi are looking at creating a similar impact with this item song. Earlier, it was also heard that Simbu invited Nayantara for this item song, but she refused. Osthi was launched in May and is expected to release by the end of 2011. Richa Gangopadhyay is the heroine.
