Venkatesh, Mahesh to share screen space
Hyderabad: Finally, a big multi-starrer. Tollywood superstars Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu are all geared up to share screen space and revive the 'multi-starrer' trend with a bang. The big budget movie, to be directed by Srikanth Addala, will begin work in January 2012.
Srikanth made the blockbuster Kotta Bangaru Lokam a few years ago. The new movie is titled SeetammaVakitlo Sirimalli Chettu. 'I have always been open about doing multi-starrers provided the script is exciting enough and very soon, you will find me sharing screen space with another big star,' said Mahesh Babu as quoted by media houses.
Venkatesh shared screen space with Tamil star Kamal Haasan in Eenadu, but for the first time, he will be sharing screen footage with a reigning Telugu star and hopefully help other stars to follow the precedent he sets. Apparently, Venkatesh is excited to do the film and has plans to do two more films simultaneously ' a film with Mahesh and one film with director Dasarath, according to sources in the industry.
