Nagarjuna in Bharavi's Aadi Sankara Hyderabad: Among the current crop of actors, Nagarjuna is the sole one with the distinction of having a flair to carry a mythological film on his shoulders. He's proved it with award-winning performances in films like Annamayya and Sri Ramadasu.
Nag seems to like acting in such films. He is set to play Shirdi Sai in an upcoming film. He has apparently also given his nod to be part of another devotional film based on the life of the proponent of Advaita Vedanta Aadi Shankaracharya.
JK Bharavi is directing the film titled Aadi Sankara. The film is in its last leg of shooting. Apparently the director was very keen on having Nagarjuna play the character and is thrilled with the actor's kind gesture to play a small but critical role in the film.
