Dookudu Audio gets on track
Hyderabad: 'Prince' Mahesh compares the audio launch function of his new yet-to-release movie to a '100 Days celebration'. 'Is it an audio launch? It looks like a 100 Days celebration,' said Prince Mahesh at the audio launch of his latest movie Dookudu at Shilpakalavedika on Thursday.
'I usually don't attend audio launches. For the first time, I felt the urge to attend the function with the Dookudu team. The function is really cool,' he said.
The actor's wife Namrata Shirodkar was also present. Actress Samantha of Ye Maya Chesave fame has been paired opposite Mahesh in the flick. She appeared in a graceful sari which got a wave of approval from the audience. 'This is a special movie in my career,' cooed Samantha.
G Adi Seshagiri Rao, producer Dil Raju, the movie's crew comprising S S Thaman, Vishwa, Ram Jogayya Sastri, Brahmanandam besides Sanjay Swaroop, Subash Gupta of Aditya music and child artiste Bharath were also among the guests present on the occasion.
Director Srinu Vytla said, 'I never brag that my movie is going to be a success before it releases. But for Dookudu, I can say that as I am confident about the success of this film.'
Ace director Rajamouli said, 'I don't know who to attribute the credit of getting Mahesh to the function. Is it Namrata, or director Srinu or the producers? Whatever it may be, it is a festival for fans of Mahesh. The dialogues are good. Especially the dialogue dimak vunnodu duniya mottam chustadu is very nice. I hope this film, which was made with Srinu's dimag, will be seen all over the duniya.'
Adi Seshagiri Rao asked Mahesh to act in at least two movies a year. Upcoming hero Sudheer babu, cousin of Mahesh, who is debuting with SMS, was introduced to fans and the media.
Dookudu is directed by Srinu Vytla and produced by trio Anil Sunkara, Achanta Gopinath and Achanta Ram. SS Thaman has scored the tunes while Vishwa and Ramajogayya Sastri penned the lyrics. Mahesh said that the movie would hit the screens on September, but did not specify the date.
