Pawan's Kolkata sentiment
Hyderabad: Kolkata has been lucky for Pawan Kalyan. The last time he played a Bengali guy, Siddarth Roy, was in Kushi, which went on to be a huge hit. Apparently his latest film, currently being shot in Ramoji Film City, is also based on a story set in Kolkata. Sanghamitra Arts and Arc Media are jointly producing the film, that is yet to be titled.
Sarah Jane Dias and Anjali Lavani are playing the lead in the film. Tirumalsetty Neelima and Shobhu Yarla Gadda are jointly producing the film. The filmmakers say that Pawan Kalyan's look in the film is going to be a revelation. The filmmakers are planning to announce the title of the film on Pawan Kalyan's birthday, Septe'mber 2.
Vishnuvardhan is directing the film. Apparently the filmmakers are planning to remake the film in Tamil as well and have approached actor Ajith to play the lead in it.
