Charan on 'Go Green' mission Hyderabad: Actor Ramcharan said on Saturday that he would support the 'Go Green Initiative' and help make it a statewide movement. He was speaking as chief guest at the 23rd anniversary celebrations of Apollo Hospitals, Hyderabad.
The hospital launched 'Apollo Go Green Initiative' and 'Sri G Surender Reddy Healing Garden' on the occasion. Ramcharan praised Dr Prathap C Reddy, chairman of Apollo Hospitals, for 'single handedly transforming the face of health care in India.' No hospital can match Apollo and its staff in service, he claimed.
'Since I can't be a doctor, nurse or health care worker, I am joining this Go Green Initiative. My contribution will be to take this initiative across the State.
By planting more trees, we can do well for our generation and the generations to come. I request Apollo, which has launched an anti malaria drive in Jubilee Hills, to extend the service to a larger geography,' he observed.
