Chiru's 150th film by August next Hyderabad: The much awaited 150th movie of film actor turned politician Chiranjeevi would go to sets in two months time, the Congress leader himself disclosed this. Mr Chiranjeevi, who joined the Congress party recently, visited his former party Praja Rajyam's office located in Jubilee hills on the eve of Ganesh Chaturthi and performed puja.
Also present were Mr Allu Aravind, Mr Anil, Mr Veda Vyas and few party activists. It's been a long gap since Chiranjeevi visited the Praja Rajyam office. After the announcement of his party's merger with the Congress, he barely visited the Jubilee hills office. In order to continue the trend of performing the Ganesh Puja at his Jubilee Hills office, which he had been doing for the past three years, the star politician made it a point to visit here for Vinayaka Chavithi.
Reacting to the questions posed by members of the media on his much awaited film, Chiranjeevi stated that the movie, which would go on the sets soon, would be completed by his next birthday (August 22).
Sources said that the film slated to be directed by Puri Jagannath, would also have few film crazy Praja Rajyam partymen doing small character roles.
Mr Chiranjeevi stated that he is not vying with PCC president Botsa Satyanarayana or other leaders for any key post. 'The people of the state would ultimately decide what post I should take up. As regards to the tour of the districts, whatever the high command asks me to do, I would be very happy to follow,' he said.
