Manchu Vishnu booked in hit-and-run Case HYDERABAD: Actor Manchu Vishnu, elder son of veteran actor Mohan Babu, is in news again for the wrong reasons. He was booked in a hit-and-run case on Monday.
According to police, around 1 p.m. on Monday, the vehicle in which Vishnu and his bodyguards were proceeding to Ramoji Film City, knocked a motorist and he fell down on the road. 'Soon Vishnu's driver sped the vehicle away from the place,' police said.
B Bhaskar, inspector of Hayatnagar, said that one Vikram and his friend Saikiran noticed the incident and chased Vishnu's vehicle. Vishnu was on his way to attend shooting of an untitled film.
As Vishnu's vehicle reached the Film City, Vikram and Sai Kiran stopped it. Later, Vikram picked up an argument with Vishnu over hitting the motorist, when three bodyguards of Vishnu reportedly beat him and Kiran. Based on a complaint lodged by Vikram, Hayatanagar police registered a case on Vishnu.
