Director Kodandarami Reddy felicitated
Hyderabad: Well-known film director A Kodandarami Reddy, was on Tuesday felicitated with the HM Reddy Smaraka Awardfor his valuable contribution to the Telugu film industry as a director at a function held at Ravindra Bharati here.. Mr Reddy has directed nearly 80 movies that include super hit films Vijeta, Donga, and Chiranjeevi's Abhilasha.
Mr Reddy started his career with the direction of a film Sandhya in 1980. He directed his last film Godava in 2007 to launch his son as an actor. 'I am grateful to the Akruti Sudhakar, son of legendary director H M Reddy, for selecting me for the award,' he said.
Akruti Sudhakar Cultural Organisation every year felicitates Telugu film director or producer with H M Reddy award. H M Reddy was the director of first Telugu talkies movie, by whose name awards are given.
