Anushka's cameo in Gabbar Singh
Hyderabad: Dabangg, one of the biggest hits ever of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, is being remade in Telugu as Gabbar Singh with star Pawan Kalyan in the lead. Dabangg's sizzling item number Munni Badnaam Hui, featuring Malaika Arora, rocked the entire nation and also played a key role in the success of the film.
The director of the Telugu remake of the movie, Harish Shankar, has plans to have a similar item number and as per sources he has approached Anushka for the song. Anushka is said to have asked for a huge fee which the producer has accepted.
It is worth mentioning that Anushka did a special song opposite mega star Chiranjeevi in Stalin. Gabbar Singh has Shruthi Haasan as the lead heroine. Music is by Devi Sri Prasad, cinematography by Jayanan Vincent, art by Brahma and editing by Gowtham Raju.
