Jai bolo Telangana for Film Festival
Hyderabad, Sept 16 (INN): Jai bolo Telangana will be screened as part of the South Asian Film Festival (SAFF) which began in Goa on Friday.
The film, with Jagapathi babu in the lead role, depicts the student and various other organizers role in the agitation which engulfed Osmania University during and after K Chandrasekhar Rao's fast unto death.
About 50 films from India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal and Bhutan will be screened during the weekend. Goa chief minister, Digambar Kamat declared the film festival open and the gathering paid tributes to Shammi Kapoor.
