Dookudu collects 9 crore in one day
Hyderabad: Mahesh's Dookudu has reportedly grossed a whopping Rs 9 crore on the first day, considered an all-time industry record. Besides the movie getting a 'hit talk' from audiences and media houses, it is believed that the Telangana bandh has also largely contributed to its success.
With examinations postponed and educational institutes closed for almost over a week, the movie is enjoying the perks of a holiday release despite not being truly so. However, movie detractors say the producers are creating a hype to ensure a better run in the theatres.
