Chiru's nephew injured in Rey shooting
Hyderabad: Megastar Chiranjeevi's nephew Sai Dharma Teja, who is making his debut with Rey, got injured while shooting for the film in the US. The doctors advised him a month's rest and the unit flew back to India. The shooting resumes as soon as he recovers from the injury.
The movie kicked off last Dasara and is set to release near the end of 2011. Rey is produced and directed by YVS Chowdary on Bommarillu banner. Shubra Ayyappa and Amruta Patki are the leading ladies. The film is touted to be music oriented love story.
Rey is the name of a musical band formed by the hero who is passionate about music. Rey comes with a punch line Shout for Success. Earlier, Rey completed its shooting part in West Indies. Music is scored by Chakri and the art director is Anand Sai. Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is the editor of the movie.
YVS chowdary told media: 'Sai Dharma Teja features are more similar to Chiranjeevi. It seems he was injured because of my drishti [evil eye]. He is recovering at brisk pace.'
