Mogudu audio launched
Hyderabad: Music of Krishnavamsi's Mogudu, starring Gopichand and Tapsee, was launched here last night. Babu Shankar was introduced as music director in this film..
The first audio CD was unveiled by chief guest NTR and V V Vinayak took the CD from him. The movie's trailer was launched by Dr.Rajendra Prasad who is playing father to Gopichand in the movie. Producer D Suresh Babu unveiled the logo of the title. Anushka also attended as the guest along with Lakshmi Prasanna.
Poets Sirivennela Seetarama Sastry and Suddala Ashok Teja, producers Allu Aravind, Dil Raju, K L Narayana, Sanam Naga Ashok Kumar, Kodali Nani, Burugupalli Shivaramakrishna, senior actresses Gitanjali, Roja, actor Naresh and others also graced the ceremony.
Music director Babu Shankar, who is making debut with film, said he scored music for more than 400 advertising commercials and he started his career with a Telugu ad commercial.
'It is destiny that I am starting my career as music composer for films with a Telugu movie. I will be thankful to Krishnavamsi for giving me the opportunity and providing me full freedom,' he said.
Rajendra Prasad said that he would never forget the role that he is playing in the movie in his life. "I will be grateful to Krishnavamsi for giving me such a character when I am actually looking for serious roles at this stage of my career," he said.
Seetarama Sastry said he wrote two songs in the film and one of the songs sums up the movie in general and in particular it speaks about what a wife actually wants from her husband.
Director Krishnavamsi is one of my favourite directors and I planned films several times but none of them materialized. I hope he does a movie with movie in future," Allu Aravind wished.
'I should thank Ramyakrishna first, as she is the one who recommended my name to Krishnavamsi for this role in the movie. I can confidently say this movie would change my career and life. I am glad that I have become a complete Telugu girl as I have dubbed for this movie,' actress Tapsee said in her emotional speech.
Gopichand said: 'I have waited ten years to work with Krishnavamsi. I thank my good friend and producer Bujji for making my dream come true. Krishnavamsi wanted to make an action movie with me but I insisted on doing this kind of movie. One of the exciting moments that I had working for the film was shooting with real Lions.'
Director Krishnavamsi termed the film as a statement about the current marriage system. 'Men are remaining just men but not taking the responsibility of husbands after their marriage. They are carrying the same mindset and lifestyle they have been leading before marriage, where as wife leaves her 'past life' and changes to the new married life. I am dealing with the subject," he said.
NTR , who came to the function as guest, wished that Mogudu would become a milestone in actor Gopichand's career. 'I like Krishnavamsi and his style of making movies. He gave Rakhi to me and my performance in that movie remains my best in career. I hope Gopichand gets same name like I did with Rakhi after the release of Mogudu .'
