Karthika to play second lead in Dammu
Hyderabad: After Shruthi Hasan walked out Dammu on the issue of dates, the producers and director are believed to have roped in Karthika to play the second lead in the film. There is no confirmed news on who will replace Shruthi as the female lead role.
Karthika was noticed in the film circles with her performance in Rangam and the buzz is that she has a meaty role in Dammu though she plays the second lead.
The shooting of Dammu will start in the last week of October and scenes connected with NTR Jr will be canned first. The shooting schedule is being reshuffled to suit the changes in the main cast.
The film circles are agog with rumours that Kajal Agarwal will be replacing Shruti Hasan but there is no confirmation as yet. Directed by Boyapati Sreenu and produced by Alexander Vallabha on the banner of Creative Commercials, Dammu has music by MM Keeravani.
