Dookudu breaks Magadheera's record
Hyderabad: We are witnessing a landmark moment in Telugu cinema history. Mahesh Babu's high-voltage action entertainer Dookudu crossed the Magadheera mark as the highest grosser in the Telugu Film Industry. Mahesh tweeted the good news via his Twitter updates.
He tweeted 'It's official. Dookudu is d highest grosser of the Telugu film industry'.unbelievable'..'. Dookudu has been registering stupendous collections right from day one and the movie is still going strong in many areas. Mahesh Babu's charm, coupled with some superb comedy from Brahmanandam and MS Narayana, is attracting family crowds in a big way.
Ever since it released in 2009, Magadheera has been the gold standard of the industry in terms of collections and commercial performance. Now Dookudu has raced past Magadheera after a gap of three years. Sreenu Vaitla directed Dookudu on the 14 Reels Entertain'ment banner. Samantha paired up with Mahesh Babu in this movie and Thaman had composed the music. Hearty congratulations to Mahesh and the entire film unit for rewriting box-office history.
