Charan to fly to Domakonda for engagement Hyderabad: The latest trend in Tollywood has been to making hay while the son is shining. After Allu Aravind and Jr NTR it is now the turn of Cherry-Ram Charan Tej, son of actor turned politician Chiranjeevi.

In Tollywood it is different, the engagement of Ram Charan with Upasana is fixed on December 1 and this news was broke by the parents of Ramcharan at Raj Bavan on Diwali day during a get-together.
The parents informed the Governor, ESL Narasimhan and his Lady that the engagement is scheduled for December 1. The first couple extended best wishes and congratulated Cherry and his parents.
Upasana is the granddaughter of Apollo Hospital's Prathap Reddy and is born into Kamineni family. With this marriage three dominant social groups of Kamma, Reddy and Kapus will come together. The engagement will take place at Domokonda fort near Nizamabad.
Ram Charan will get a chartered flight as an engagement gift from the Upasana family on the same day. Domakonda Gadi Samsthan rulers are Kamineni family and Upasana is the daughter of Domakonda Samsthan current heir Anil Kamineni and Sobhana Reddy.
Ramcharan, whose Magadheera was a runaway success and stood as a benchmark in Tolywood on many fronts, must have been obsessed with period films and the ambience, so it seems.
