Tanikella Bharani to stage a play Hyderabad: Versatile actor and experimentalist Tanikella Bharani, in his quest to do something new, is planning to stage a play in Hyderabad in December.
In association with the well-known drama company Surabhi, he is staging the evergreen drama Patala Bhairavi, possibly on December 24 and 25. He may don the role of Nepala Mantrika, which was enacted by the legendary SV RangaRao in the Vijay Studio's Patala Bhairavi in 1950. 'I have a strong desire to act as sorcerer from my childhood days.
Some friends encouraged me to so. I'm now working with Surabhi group and my dream may come true shortly' he told Hans Talkies. Bharani made a short film 'INK' for which he received best debutant director at Hyderabad International Film Festival. His other film Blue Cross also got an award earlier and another award at 10th Mumbai International Film Festival award.
