Priyamani's stalker behind the bars
Hyderabad: Actress Priyamani can heave a sigh of relief after going through mental trauma for a couple of months. The unidentified phone stalker who has been harassing Priyamani with vulgar language and indecent messages for about 2 months is finally in the custody of the Police.
The friendly actress changed her number thrice in the span of three months. In fact, she almost withdrew into a shell and was 'out-of-reach' for many of her friends and people started thinking the actress has lost interest in T-town as she was making waves in Kannada.
'It all started few months ago, when an anonymous guy started calling her and speaking in different voices. Initially, she thought he was a cranky fan but gradually he started getting on to her nerves with vulgar language and lewd messages. Despite, changing her number a couple of times, the ruthless caller somehow managed to get her new number and continued to harass her,' says a source close to the actress.
Apparently, some of her friends approached the cops. After a few weeks, cops traced down the caller to Kukatpally and registered multiple cases against him. 'Priyamani will answer her calls once again,' adds the source. The actress may also pick up a Tollywood offer, since she hasn't signed any film after Kshetram.
