Genelia finally fall in line with MAA Hyderabad: Denying the news that actress Genelia D'Souza was banned for apparently not being a member of MAA (Movie Artistes' Association), MAA President M Murali Mohan told that: 'No one is banned yet. We have decided to extend the deadline till the end of this month.
We will initiate serious action against who fails to fall in line.' 'Till date, about 75 per cent of non-native actors have positively responded to our call and joined as MAA members, but some are yet to join. We have noticed that some of them are apparently busy with their outdoor and foreign shootings.
The last date to register as MAA member is November 30. On December 1, MAA will take serious action on the actors who are not registered ,' he added. Meanwhile, Genelia is busy with Naa Istam opposite Rana Daggubati.
Meanwhile, Genelia clarified that she will be enrolling as a member with MAA this week. 'I never imagined that it will take such a serious turn, but i'll oblige with all the rules,' said the Goan beauty.
