No caste element in Bezawada: RGV Hyderabad: Clarifying the allegations that Bezawada movie has targetted specific groups and castes in the state, Ramgopal Varma (RGV), under whose banner the movie is produced, said : 'Right from the beginning, I've been stating that the movie is a fiction.
It's not at all related to any individual or group and not based on a real story. I'm being threatened through phone calls to our office and through twitter messages. My detractors are analysing each and every shot in the trailers and have even wrongly interpreted the meaning of words that are used in lyrics of a title song.
Certainly they are pessimists. The lyrics of the song includes the words such as 'Kamma'nayina, 'Kapu'kasi, adha'Ranga', ka'Devi' (assumed to be pointing at politician Devineni Uma) are apparently highlighted and it seems they are assuming that the story is favourable to Devineni Uma, which is not real,' said RGV.
'Also it seems they are considering my friendship with Devineni Uma and considering the castes of lead crew of the movie - Naga Chaitanya, producer Kiran Kumar Koneru, director Vivek Krishna - that is 'Kamma', and assuming that the movie is favouring a particular caste, but it is not true,' he added.
