'Happy Days' jinxed Hyderabad: It seems that the Happy Days team running into 'high' trouble one after the other. While it was the allegations of drugs on Varun Sandesh earlier, now it is Nikhil who failed the breather test and was booked in a drunk and drive case.
It is a nice ploy for City Police to lay wait close to pubs to net the fish and the police drive is well organised.
Only thing is late night parties and participants do not get the publicity Nikhil got as it was in the heart of the city and he was caught close to the pub.
The police efforts notwithstanding, the police check-post armed with media, proved to be unlucky for Nikhil who has to appear before Nampally Criminal Court on Monday and his vehicle was seized.
Earlier, it was the turn of Varun Sandesh who was named as a user by the peddlers who were arrested. The issue was swept under the carpet or may be pending due to some reason.
Whenever drugs racket is busted, invariably a Nigerian is arrested and kin of politicians or film stars are involved.
The matter gets buried. Ravi Teja's brothers were also named as accused in drug peddling. The issue is never raked up later.
