Nayanatara excels in Sri Ramarajyam
Hyderabad: Born as Diana Mariam Kurian, the Malayali actress has donned the role of Sita to perfection in Sri Ramarajyam and her portrayal has evoked overwhelming response.
The film's success and critics appreciation comes as a deserving birthday gift to Nayanatara, who took the name after converting to Hinduism and entering tinsel world.
The Nandamuri Balarishna starrer film has been pick of the mythological film released yesterday with Bapu showing pouring in all his creative talent and Illayaraja orchestrating best of the songs and background songs.
For Nayanatara, born on November 18, 1984 in Kerala, Sri Ramarajyam in all likelihood would be her final project as she plans to marry choreographer turned director Prabhu Deva early next year.
Two years after her debut in a Malayalam film, she got the biggest break in 2005 acting in Rajanikanth's super hit movie Chandramukhi and earned a place for herself in Tamil and Telugu film industry. She acted with almost all the leading stars of Telugu and Tamil industry.
Doubts were raised when she was selected for role of Sita as she has an indisputable glamour quotient in her. But director Bapu could project her as Sita Sadhvi which was earlir played by Anjali Devi in the first version of Lava Kusa. The success of the film could be her birthday gift as well as a parting memory.
