Hyderabad: Madhavan on a three-month rest and plans to go to Australia for treatment of his injured knee.
The multilingual star injured his knee while shooting for 3 Idiots and was treated in Mumbai but it recurred and aggravated due to his busy schedule.
He is presently acting in the Tamil film Vettai and reported severe pain while dancing for a song sequence. Doctors advised him three months rest and he plans to leave for Australia.
