Pawan don't want 'inheritor' tag Hyderabad: Actor Pawan KalYan said he is lucky to have shrugged off the tag of being Megastar Chiranjeevi's kid brother.
'I am myself surprised that I have completed 15 years in the industry. I realised that only when someone sent me a mail reminding me of it,' said actor Pawan Kaylan during the audio launch of his new action entertainer Panjaa amidst huge fanfare.
'I was apprehensive that I will always be perceived as 'Megastar Chiranjeevi's kid brother' and it was my conscious effort to shrug of the same. But luckily, I am being recognised for my own talent,' he added.
He expressed his desire to work with hit director SS Rajamouli as he handed over the first CD to him. The actor unveiled a 2 GB micro SD card which contains a huge collection of his songs.
Yuvanshankar Raja composed the tunes while Chandrabose and Ramajogayya Sastry have penned the lyrics. Sarah Jane Dias and Anjali Lavania play the female leads opposite Pawan in Panjaa expected to release in December.
