Importance of being big star kids Hyderabad: Being children of top celebrities may not be a boon always, more so in film world. Though the second or third generation does have a head-start in many areas, their attitude and approach always gives them a measure of their personality which counts.
While Kapoor family tree has grown big and wide with the fourth generation stars ruling the roost, second generation stars Hrithik Roshan, Saif Ali Khan has made their mark.
There are a few like Kumar Gaurav and others who made little impact. Abhishek Bachchan and Kareena Kapoor fall into a different category of star children (parents being artistes) who are doing very well.
Jr NTR and Naga Chaitanya come as the third generation stars. While Ram Charan Tej and Manchu brothers are second generation actors while Rana Daggubati family is into films for three generations. But the lineage is only masculine.
Shruti Hassan is a star kid and her stint with Tollywood was rather unpleasant, at least for a few. She created a flutter when she walked out of Dammu, something which in the present day hero-dominated world, could not even think of.
She cited dates as the main problem for her exit, but what happened really is known only to a few. Not having the dates is the most convenient excuse for anyone in the tinsel world. After her roaring success in Tamil films and with a slew of offers coming her way, she hogged more limelight.
Even her father had recently go annoyed with a director on the issue of dates for his film Viswaroopam. Rumour has it that Shruti was shown the door from Pawan Kalyan's Gaddab Singh, the remake of Dabangg. It was quickly reverted saying that her role holds good and she is playing the Sonakshi role.
Churning rumours many times and hushing up facts is the way of life in film world be it Hollywood, Bollywood, Tollywood or any other wood.
