Models sizzle the ramp at 'Indian Princess' south hunt

Hyderabad: Gorgeous models, sporting Indo-Western and traditional collections, dazzled the ramp with their cat walks at a fashion show held to mark the inauguration of the south zone audition of the 'Indian Princess 2012' pageant, which kicked off at Hotel Katriya in Hyderabad on Wednesday evening.

'Indian Princess 2011' winners and Hyderabadi models sashayed across the ramp draped in elegant cocktail collections designed by Mumbai-based Asif Merchant (bridal wear), Ridhi Sidhi (Western wear) and Hyderabad's Varsha.

The models sizzled the ramp in line with the collection theme and in rhythm to the accompanying music at the fashion show, which was held in four sequels.

Earlier, inaugurating the south zone hunt, Atharva Group executive president and the Indian Princess pageant chairman Mr Sunil Rane said: 'We are holding auditions across south, north, east and west zones in 14 states. We are organising the pageant since the last six years to encourage aspiring models in this field.'

The proceeds of these shows will be utilised in extending a helping hand to the families who laid down their lives for our country. Along with a cause for synchronized education to the female child in the remote and rural area of India, Mr Rane said.

Training & Grooming:

Indian Princess 2012'with Extravaganza is a bigger platform for the young female models in India to launch their career in the field of fashion. Around 30 finalists from the different regions would be trained to achieve PERFECTION.

This grooming would be conducted at Blue Ocean Resort and Spa at Ganpatipule, Ratnagiri followed by International Training by Professionals in Thailand. Indo-Thai fashion carnival will be an attraction during visit.

Grand Finale:

The Grand Finale is scheduled to be held at the Sea Side Lawn of Hotel Centaur, Juhu Mumbai on Friday, 9th March 2012
