Jagapathi Babu to get Kala Bhushan title
Hyderabad: Senior artiste Jagapathi babu will be conferred Kala Bhushan title for his contribution to Tollywood by TSR Kala Parishad.
On the same dais, his father and popular producer and founder of the Jagapathi Art Pictures VB Rajesndra Prasad will also be honoured.
The function will be held tomorrow at Narsaraopet in which a host of artistes including Vani Sree, Brahmanandam, Giri Babu, Geetanjali, Rajasekhar, Jeevitha, Priyamani, Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao, P Vijaya Babu and others will be attended.
State Minister Kasu Venkatakrishna Reddy will be the chief guest at the function which will also have political leaders in attendance.
TSR Kala Parishad, floated by Subbarami Reddy, is a cultural organization which aims at giving performing arts the much-needed boost and showcase the glory of Telugu culture and tradition by providing a platform for artistes.
