Vidya Balan files plea in High Court
HYDERABAD: Bolywood actress Vidya Balan and producer Ekta Kapoor on Wednesday filed a petition in the High Court seeking to quash the criminal case filed by Nallakunta police on December 17.
It may be recalled that Nallakunta police, following a local court directive in connection with a petition filed by an advocate, registered a criminal case against the actress for obscenity.
The petitioner complained that indecent posters of the Balan-starrer Dirty Picture, were pasted across the city causing embarassment to women.
