3 Rascals named Snehithudu
Hyderabad: The highly successful Aamir Khan starrer 3 Idiots is coming as Snehithudu in Telugu. Shooting part of the film is complete and post production work is going on a brisk pace.
The film which was earlier named as 3 Rascals is now changed to Snehithudu for whatever reasons. The Tamil version is titled Nanban.
Shankar is directing the film in Tamil and it will be dubbed toTelugu. The highly talented director normally keeps away from remakes but the astounding success and the contemporary element in the picture involving students and youngsters with education system as the backdrop must have enthused him to take up the project.
Snehitudu stars Vijay, Jiiva, Sriram and Ileana in lead roles. Harris Jayaraj has composed the music. Dil Raju has bought the distribution rights for AP from producers Gemini Film Circuit and is all set for January 26 release. Audio is likely to be released in the first week of January.
