Ravi Teja top on Bollywood remake circuit Hyderabad: Ravi Teja films are like hot cakes in the Bollywood remake market. Many of his successful films are lapped up by Bollywood to give their version of the flick.
The surprising element is even the most acclaimed aesthetic director like Sanjay Leela Bansali has taken up Ravi Teja's film.
The 2006 Telugu full length entertainer Vikramarkudu is being remade as Rowdy Rathore with Akshya Kumar playing the title role.
Next in the line is Kick which was a big hit in Telugu and Tamil. Said Nadiadwala got the rights of the film.
Salman Khan, who has been keen on observing the developments in Tollywood, will be playing the lead along role his newly discovered successful heroine Sonakshi Sinha.The duo was a great hit in Dabangg.
After Kick, it is Don Seenu in the making. It is Akki again at it. It seems like Akshay has been bitten by the Tollywood bug.
Earlier, Jitender used to show interest in Telugu remakes and his Balaji Films had taken up many a venture. He also had a share in Padmalaya Studios for some time.
