Who will make it to Pongal Screening?
Hyderabad: With the big festival Sankranti fast approaching, films lined up for the release are getting the finishing touches and backroom negotiations are on to defer the release dates for mutual benefit.
Mahesh Babu's Businessman is a certainty for the Pongal release along with Venkatesh starrer Bodyguard.
Sunil's Poolarangadu and Ravi Teja's Nippu were also announced for the festival. Film industry vehicle runs by the fuel of sycophancy, snobbery and obedience to the mighty.
It remains to be seen as to who will stay and who will make way for biggies and differ release days. We do not know if some of the dubbing films too will make it or if a pact was signed.
Old timers may remember that a film produced by a big banner with the title having Sankranti in it and was not released for Pongal as the producer, who is now a monarch, had to oblige a biggie who was bent on releasing his picture for Pongal.
