Chiru remarks irk Balakrishna fans Kurnool, January 11: Irked by the remarks of Chiranjeevi, film star Balakrishna's fans on Wednesday disrupted traffic by organising a rasta roko and burned the flex banners of the PRP leader.
'Balakrishna is associated with TDP which has a 30-year history of delivering social justice,' said district president of Balakrishna Fans Association at the Visweswariah Chowk here.
Chiranjeevi merged his party with Congress and compromised for money and party post, he alleged '' and a person with such credentials has no right to criticise Balakrishna.
The recent remarks of Chiranjeevi have been alienating him from his fans and if this trend continues, he will not have any supporters, he said.
TDP district president Somisetti Venkateswarlu, former minister Rambhupal Chodhary and city president BAK Parvez and others participated in protest.

Tirupati MLA K Chiranjeevi, when reporters sought his reaction on the comments made by actor Nandamuri Balakrishna, likened him to a small kid. He made this remark at Vizag Airport.
He refused to comment on Balakrishna's comment that Chiranjeevi, who wanted to emerge as Chief Minister, had failed to run the party and merged it with the Congress for his selfish interest..
Chiranjeevi said he never takes Balakrishna's comments seriously. He said any one can come into politics but people have lost faith on the leaders if they come into politics with selfish motives.
