Vennela 1 ½ completes shooting part
Hyderabad: Vennela Kishore's maiden directorial project 'Vennela 1 '' shooting has been wrapped up. The actor-turned- director is keen on his subject and has completed the filming in 29 days.
Vennela, released in 2005 and directed by Deva Katta, had done well at the box-office. Kishore kept the audience in splits as Khadar and won applause for his performance. The actor is now donning two hats ' as a director and actor for the sequel.
The lead cast includes Chaitanya Krishna, Monal Gajjar, Brahmanandam and Raghubabu. Vasu and Varma are jointly producing the movie on the banner of Gr8 productions limited. The post-production work of the movie is progressing and the makers' are likely to release it in the month of February.
Producer varma said the movie will be an out and out entertainer and complete laugh riot like Vennela. Master Bharath, 'Tagubotu' Ramesh, Giridhar and Harish Koyalakuntla also play a vital role in the movie.
