Publicity going around number of screens, not collections Hyderabad: Sankaranti festival has come, but this time around producers have taken enough care with regard to the collections. They are now concentrating on the number of prints and other aspects but not touching the collections part.
Ever since Dookudu hype, on the collections when compared to the previous films like, Magadeera and Pokiri did not go well with the Taxman who knocked the doors unceremoniously, Tollywood has taken good care in that measure. Once bitten, twice shy goes the saying.
So this time, Businessman producers have created hype on the number of theatres and not on collections at least on the opening day. Fans as usual, made most of the event and theatres were seen with youngsters adding to the Sankaranti fervour thronging the theatres.
It is the number of theatres that has come up for publicity and Businessman is released in over 2,000 theatres world over and tickets are sold out till Monday.
Should this be an indication to the taxman, we do not know, but this time the war will be number of screens and prints. Next it would be Bodyguard to be seen as to what happens.
Meanwhile, films that dropped, for the festival are having the audio released and will be testing waters in next month.
