Gopi Chand's new film to start soon
Hyderabad: Actor Gopi Chand, who was last seen in the box office disaster 'Mogudu,' will start his new film with director Bhoopathy Pandyan this January end.
The director had Tamil hits like 'Devathayai Kanden' and 'Thiruvilayadal Arambam' to his credit. Not long ago, reports had it that actress Tamannah will play the lead role opposite 'Yagnam' star but her jam packed year might pave way for another actress.
Actress Richa Gangopadhay's name is also in reckoning but a formal announcement is expected from the makers of the film.Music director of the season S S Thaman will be composing the music for the film while writer M Rathnam will pen the dialogues.
Thandra Ramesh, who has produced couple of films such as 'Uthamaputhiran' and 'Osthe' in Tamil Nadu, will produce Gopi's film on Balaji Real Media Pvt Ltd.
The producer is also producing the Tamil remake of Telugu hit 'Yemaindi Evela' and 'Saamran' (Tamil film) with Vishal and Trisha in the lead.Meanwhile, Gopi Chand is all set to tie the knot with Haritha, a Hyderabad based businessman's daughter on February 24, 2012.
