Rana quits Vetrimaaran's Tamil project Hyderabad: Looks like actor Rana Daggubati is not keen on acting in 'Vada Chennai'. The latest news about the film is that Rana, who was roped in to play a crucial role, has opted out of the project due to unknown reasons.
'Vetrimaaran will soon find an apt replacement', sources say. To be produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri's Cloud Nine Movies, 'Vada Chennai' is a dream project of Vetrimaaran.
Actually, Rana's role is said to be the nerve of the film, and the subject of Vada Chennai is said to be an exciting one. There has been no official confirmation from the actor. As he is currently busy with his movie 'Naa Ishtam', the actor is expected to speak on the news sooner.
A couple of days ago, Vetrimaaran denied that the project hit a road block due to lack of support from Simbu. 'There is no truth in this claim. I am yet to complete the script and will start shooting once it is over', he said.
