Kajal to play female lead in Pawan's film
Hyderabad: Ace director Puri Jagannadh who is on a high with the blockbuster hit of 'The Businessman' seems to be impressed with the acting prowess of Kajal Aggarwal in the movie.
The latest buzz is that he has roped in Kajal to play the female lead role in his upcoming movie opposite Pawan Kalyan. Earlier Kajal was considered for heroine's role in his upcoming 'Gabbar Singh', but she missed it due to dates problem. If sources to be believed, now she has got a change to share screen space with the actor.
The movie will go on the floors from May. It will be produced by DVV Danaiah of Universal. As this is the first time that Kajal is playing opposite Pawan, there is bound to be some amount of excitement about their on-screen chemistry.
As for the 'Power Star', he is known to strike an immediate rapport with any actress who comes across as perky.
Rarely does Puri prefer a heroine for the second time, with the exception of Ileana, who is the heroine in 'Devudu Chesina Manushulu' and had earlier worked with him in 'Pokiri'.
It will be interesting to see Kajal's role in the untitled film. The actress seems to have a perfect and comfortable working relationship with Puri, and this will only work in the film's favour. Also, she would be only too eager to be cast opposite a superstar like Pawan.
She is one of the few heroines in the industry to have acted with all the top stars of the generation - Mahesh, Pawan, NTR, Ram Charan and Prabhas.
She is going to act for the second time with Cherry in the film to be directed by VV Vinayak. Meanwhile, she is busy with product endorsements including a instant coffee brand and soap.
Puri's movie will be produced by D V V Danayya and is expected to release for Dussera. Meanwhile Pawan Kalyan completes his current project 'Gabbar Singh' which will release on April 27.
By that time, Puri also completes his upcoming project 'Devudu Chesina Manushulu' with Ravi Teja.
