After, Jr NTR, it's Jr SVR
Hyderabad: Jr SVR after Jr NTR sounds great. The two seniors had given Tollywood many a hit. Their performance was competitive and of a superior quality.
Be it the dialogue delivery, the movements, expressions or their screen presence. While one was a hero, the other was a character actor, still they locked horns in many films, more so in mythological ones.
Narthanasala gave SVR international fame as Keechaka though NTR was the hero. So was the case in Maya Bazar, Pathala Bhairavi, Pandava Vanavasam. Even in Gundamma Katha and Ramu SVR role was memorable though they were minor characters.
There was a rumour in those days that there were some difference of opinion between the two and for a long time they did not act together. After a long gap, Sri Krishna Vijayam came with the two giants playing main roles.
Anyway, the good news is SVR's grandson is making his debut as hero in a film to be directed by SR Charan Reddy. Neelam Upadhyay is the female lead. The muhurat shot will be taken on Monday at Filmnagar temple.
