Wedding bells ring in Tollywood

Hyderabad: It's wedding season everywhere and in Tollywood, too. And those set to tie the knot in the coming days include Ram Charan Tej, Genelia D'Souza, Gopichand, Reema Sen and Aryan Rajesh.

The much-awaited marriage ceremony of the year is certainly that of the mega power star with his childhood friend and love interest Upasana Kamineni.

The nuptials will be held in June in the city following which a lavish dinner will be hosted in Tirupathi by actor-politician Chiranjeevi to fans. The date and venue will be finalised shortly.

Bubbly Genelia is all geared up for the Sangeet on Wednesday (February 1), to be directed by Karan Johar. The pretty lass is consummating wedding with Bollywood actor and beau Ritesh Deshmukh on Feb 3 in Mumbai.

The gala took off with a pre-nuptials bash organised for the couple by buddies Sajid Nadiadwala and Fardeen Khan in suburban Bandra Sunday last.

Next in the list is Aryan Rajesh, son of noted director late EVV Satyanarayana and brother of Allari Naresh. The Hai actor is entering the wedlock with Subhashini on February 10.

The bride hails from Jegurupadu in East Godavari and the celebrations are scheduled in Rajahmundry. The two got engaged on Monday at Subhashini's native amid a host of movie personalities and politicos. To add zing to the merriment, Rajesh is throwing a party for chums in the city soon.

Tall and handsome Gopichand is turning an ideal 'Mogudu' in real-life. The hero is getting hitched with Haritha, daughter of city-based entrepreneur and an MBA from Australia, on February 24.

Gopichand disclosed the news at the launch of his venture under the direction of Kollywood director Bhoopati Pandian and added that he is through with the distribution of marriage invites.

Then, 'Chitram' fame Reema Sen is taking her love life to the next level by walking the aisle on March 11. The actress has been denying reports about her seeing Delhi-based hotelier Shiv for some time now, but the news spread like fire.

The wedding ceremony will be held both according to Punjabi and Bengali traditions, at the groom's farm house. Reema roped in renowned fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee to get bridal outfit done and is organizing a grand party for the near and dear, two days prior to her marriage.
