Prakash Raj opted out of 'SVCC'
Hyderabad: Actor Prakash Raj, who was recently seen helming and acting in 'Dhoni' has opted out of the multi-starrer, 'Seethamma Vaktilo Sirimalle Chettu'(SVCC).
The actor was to play father to both Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu in the film but looks like differences of opinion with producer Dil Raju has led to the exit of the verasatile actor.
It was reliably learnt that Dil Raju who distributed 'Dhoni' couldn't quite generate the publicity that was required for the film considering that it opened to positive reviews all across the state. Both Prakash Raj and Dil Raju share a good equation as they go back a long time.
The actor was seen in most of the Raju's productions with 'Bommarillu' and 'Kotha Bangaru Lokam' to name a few.
Producer Raju is on the lookout for a new actor and it is heard that actors like Sathyaraj, Nasar and Kota Srinivas Rao are in the reckoning but nothing has been finalised yet.
On the other hand the film has wrapped up its schedule in Kutralam, Tamil Nadu and Hyderabad is the next destination for the unit starting from the first week of March.
Starring Samantha and Anjali as the female leads opposite Mahesh and Venky, the film is aimed for a late summer release.
