Pongal films score half century
Hyderabad: Sankranti releases Businessman and Bodyguard have celebrated 50 days. The two pictures attracted huge publicity and retained their date with Pongal.
While nothing great was announced about the two films, initially publicity blitz said that the two films were hit commercially, whatever that means.
However, one song from Businessman is still doing the rounds and Bodyguard just passed the test at the box office.
Producer Bellamkonda Suresh said in a press release that efforts of the unit were rewarded and Bodyguard stood out as a family entertainer and thanked the audience for making movie one of the good hits in Telugu this year.
SS Thaman scored the music for the film. Trisha and Saloni are the female leads. Shyam K Naidu, Goutam Raju, Kona Venkat, Ram Lakshman form the technical team of the film.
