Suriya to dub in Telugu Hyderabad: Shooting of the Suriya-Kajal bi-lingual 'Maatraan' is progressing briskly at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. The buzz is that Suriya would personally dub for the film! The actor told the media: "Yes, I will dub for my character in Telugu for 'Maatran's Telugu version. I have my fingers crossed.
I hope to do a good job of it.' He jocularly added, "My younger brother Karthi is already dubbing on his own in Telugu and films like 'Aawara' (Paiyaa) have fetched him good name. I am sure I will beat him by professionally."
Expressing gratitude to Telugu audience for their support, Suriya said, "It is great news that movies starring me and Karthi are appreciated in Andhra Pradesh.
We are thankful to the overwhelming response here." The movie is directed by KV Anand, of 'Rangam' fame, and produced by Gnanavel in Tamil and Bellam Konda Suresh in Telugu. Harris Jayraj has scored the tunes for the movie.
